Inspired by the band rosters of Chicago’s Touch & Go, and Minneapolis’ Amphetamine Reptile, Members Of The Press defied stereotype, while managing to create "dual-bass" music that was both catchy and memorable. Mainly a side-project, MOTP released an E.P. six months in, followed by recordings on midwest compilations and a full-length release, with consistent touring in support of their efforts.
