Edit history

MeMeMe formed in the early 90's. They played original indie music (pop, rockabilly, psychobilly and one surf instrumental). In 1996 they opened for Link Wray in Newcastle. They supported acts like Throwing Muses, Southern Culture on the Skids, The Cruel Sea, The Falling Joys, The Whitlams, Dave Graney and the Corel Snakes, The Gadflys and Kim Salmon. They released 3 CDs and were on 2 compilation albums. Lead singer Delores Foxtonfinn also sang backing vocals on the DedFX album Ritual Eternal. MeMeMe never officially disbanded, but stopped playing when the lead singer had to take time out to deal with a serious health condition.
