Raw, untamed, and nostalgic retro-indie rock with a soulful storytelling heart. Memphis Nights is a singer, songwriter, and bass player hailing from the vibrant music scene of Melbourne, Australia. With a voice ranging from smooth as honey to gravelly as rust and bass and beat lines grooving like thunder, Memphis has been making waves in the industry with his eclectic blend of soul, rock, blues, and funk. From the underground clubs of Fitzroy and the sun-soaked stages of St. Kilda, to the venues in Europe, Memphis has been honing his craft and sharing his stories through song. Whether laying down a funky bass groove or belting out a soulful melody, Memphis Nights pours his heart and soul into every song and every performance. Musical influences ranging from the legendary sounds of Chess Record Blues, Motown and Stax Records to the more modern sounds of The Eagles and Springsteen, Memphis Nights draws inspiration from the rich tapestry of Australian culture.
