The Merlins Traffic story began in the small town of Ingham in North Queensland where Heath Burdell and Daniel Anese met as teenagers. Starting as a covers band, it wasn’t long before they focused their attention towards writing and performing original music and Merlins Traffic was born. As a songwriting duo they rapidly gained recognition for creating unforgettable rock anthems, achieving heavy radio rotation and in the process garnered a live following that took them to packed venues across North Queensland. Now residing in Sydney, Australia alongside bandmates Nic Bailey and Chris Bernauer, Merlins Traffic have developed a powerful live show which has already been experienced in some of the city's best known venues including the Annandale Hotel and the Gaelic Club.
