Poetic lyricism meets punk defiance in Mermaid Riot's 90s-tinged yet undeniably contemporary and original sound. They play heavy, melodic rock with radio-friendly hooks and the raw energy of punk alongside sophisticated arrangements, elements of metal and prog, and female lead vocals that glide from an intimate whisper to a power belt and back again. They are currently based in Phoenix, AZ.
