Mescher began when 2 uni friends (Sez-guitar/vox and Gordo-bass) decided to get off their backsides, after playing together for many years, and play their own songs. They searched for a drummer and were finally gifted with Rod and the band formed in early 2005. Since then the band has played only a few Perth shows in band competitions, obscure back rooms and at friends' parties. We always get a buzz from playing our own songs to a fresh crowd and creating something new and want to follow it wherever it leads.
