In the inner western suburb of Glebe, where opulent terraces look out over government housing, Mic found himself immersed in the 90s/2000s hip hop/searcher culture – graffiti, rap, thieving & sporting the finest garments, while his elders taught him heart & compassion for all. On Fear, three tracks work to form a narrative that follows the trajectory of fear itself, from the mind to the body, through lyrics that are as much an expression of the personal as they are a perceived trend within society, set against a backdrop of bass-heavy beats with warm, ethereal sounds that lace each track with atmospheric mystery.
