22 year old Micah Rothwell was born and raised in Alice Springs and grew up surrounded by musicians, so it's no wonder he has chosen this career path. writing and performing for nearly seven years, he has begun to work on music closer to his heart than ever. Previously the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of Alice Springs rock band The FootKnuckles, Micah grew stronger as a singer, and learned his way around the guitar. Once Micah moved out of Alice and into the city of Melbourne, inspiration struck and he recorded his first album under the stage name "Life With Birds". Now living in Ballarat, he is working on his second album, but this time under his real name Micah Rothwell. The collection of songs were written within the few years he has lived in Ballarat, and depict a haunting look into the mind of the singer. Performed with just an acoustic guitar and recorded with an iPad, the album is "The War".
