"MichaelRaffertyMusic" recently hit the studio to produce the new cd "The Clock" which was released in November and available at www.michaelraffertymuisc.com “This guy sings directly from his soul” The Empress Hotel. "Raff is one of those quintessential musicians whose desperate desire for harmony and peace is at the forefront of much of his work. Raff takes the pain of lost love, the banal attitude of the ignorant plus the sunshine of life and rolls it all into a telling message of understanding. His ability to capture any audience through his melodic ballads or rhythmic rock tunes shows the diversity of his talent and his ability to entertain." (Eve Fisher, "The Echo" 2006) Raff began his music career as lead singer of “Zygon” at age fourteen. Four young and hungry boys that loved covering Pink Floyd, ACDC, The Easy Beats and anything else that rocked out at school dances, fetes and yes - Rock Masses. The boys set about honing their style with consistent and diligent rehearsals.
