My name is Te Urukaraka Wano. I am a 17 year old male, Maori Artist born in New Zealand,but based in Perth City. I am the youngest of 4 siblings. I lived in New Zealand till I was 11 years of age then moved here to Perth, Western Australia. Ever since I was little I've had the love for music. I began dancing at the age of 8 and entered competitions with and without dance crews. I stopped dancing at the age of 15. That's when I began to really focus towards the music side of things. I began writing when experiencing moments in my life that were unexplainable. Therefore music was the only way I could speak my mind. In 2015 I started doing music with cousins and also my brother. We named ourselves 'Kwest Crew'. We made many songs that are not published to this day but are kept just for the enjoyment. I started to do my own thing and then eventually became a solo artist.
