Growing up on an isolated beach suburb in Perth, it soon became second nature to pick up a guitar and jam with friends and family on slow sunday afternoons, playing along to Bob Dylan, Dire Straights and Fleetwood Mac. Original songwriting came at about 14yrs when an uncle urged her to start singing. After a few stints in Broome, Brisvegas and Melbourne, Michelle has refined her craft through the experience of travelling and being inspired from the people throughout Australia sounding part blues, part folk, part roots with a jovial feel.
