Mick is a multidisciplinary: He is a dancer, choreographer, singer-songwriter, sound designer and performing arts teacher. Raised in Golden Valley, Tasmania, an interest in music lead Mick to the guitar early in life. Touring Tasmanian high schools in the 'Rock Series' program with his band 'Kajbam' helped introduce Mick to songwriting & performing. During this time however, Mick also discovered dance as an art-form, leading him to study for a Bachelor of Dance at the Victorian College of the Arts and taking him into a career as a dancer/choreographer. Working as a professional artist, Mick has been involved in a wide range of productions, both big and small, working consistently with Opera Australia and collaborating with independent artists throughout Australia as performer, choreographer and sound designer. His choreographic work has been supported by, amongst others, Dancehouse, Theatre Works, Frankston City Council, National Theatre, VCA and the AICD. In 2005, after performing

Mick is a multi-disciplinary artist currently focused on writing new material for his album 'Simple day'. Mick was born in Los Angeles & raised in Golden Valley, Tasmania. Interests in music lead Mick to the guitar early in life. Touring Tasmanian high schools in the "Rock Series" program with his band 'kajbam' gave Mick an early introduction to song writing & performing. During this time Mick discovered dance, later leading him to study for a Bachelor of Dance at the Victorian College of the Arts, which included scholarship studies at the London Contemporary, UK. Working as a professional dancer & choreographer, Mick has been involved in a wide range of live productions, from small independent dance works, to large scale company productions. Mick has collaborated with independent artists throughout Melbourne as a performer, a choreographer and a sound designer and has performed frequently with Opera Australia since first appearing in Aida in 1996.
