After a decade of singing triple-sibling harmonies with The Hazelman Brothers, Mick became curious about the idea of recording an album and playing everything on it - vocals, guitars, drums, bass, keys and percussion. Putting Back Chairs is the result - 12 tracks of harmony-driven modern folk and country-tinged melancholia, complex rock and chuggy tuned-down metal tones - all backed with some deliciously off-kilter time signatures. The album is launching at the Northcote Social Club, 1.30pm Sunday 7 October with a full band show.
