Born in Perth, Western Australia, Mickey took to music at a very early age grabbing anything he could find that would make a sound. When Mickey was 10, he enrolled in the WA College of performing arts where he participated in Musical theater, singing and dance. Mickey began auditioning for productions within the college immediately landing main roles in children’s musicals such as “Alice in Wonderland, Hansel and Gretel, Into the Woods, and Little Shop of Horrors. Performing in local events, festivals, and competitions Mickey landed his first big mention in the West Australian newspaper at age 15, grabbing public attention for his performance as “Judah” in Joseph and his amazing Technicolor dream-coat live at the Regal Theater. Shortly after Mickey appeared at the Gallery of WA for the ST Petersburg1900s exhibition as the mystical “Rasputin”, as well as receiving honours from Trinity International with several levels of musical theater distinctions.
