Micheal Smith, aka MICKY SMITH, is a 32-year-old independent artist and music producer from the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Growing up with an ever-burning passion in the creative arts, he has spent his life drawing, animating and writing. After always wanting to be a filmmaker, MICKY joined film school but left after the first trimester because he realized that the film industry has too many hands in the honeypot – stifling the creative control he desired over his projects. It was at this moment that MICKY realized what the driving force behind all of his creative decisions had been his entire life – music. The next day he went out and purchased a second-hand MIDI keyboard, and the rest is history.
