‘Find Out’, the latest single from Middle Management, showcases the Brunswick post-punk outfit at their desperate best. A stark contrast to the bright optimism of comeback single ‘Like You Said’, 'Find Out’ sees Middle Management lean into a much darker palate. Sinister synths and searing alkaline guitars collide to create a desolate, near-gothic backdrop, with vocalist Sam Joyce pleading for clarity atop of the nervy sonic undercurrent. It’s a downward spiral that comes to a crashing halt - unsettling, unruly and deceptively addictive. Recorded at Melbourne institution The Aviary alongside engineer Hunter Percy (Saturated Analogue), ‘Find Out’ marks the second Middle Management release with new guitarist Andy Chalmers and bassist Will Brewster in the fold, joining drummer Stefan Germaine and vocalist/guitarist Sam Joyce to write a swathe of new material.
