Emerging from the nocturnal pulse of Sydney, Midnight Zephyr is a captivating alternative rock band that has been painting the local music scene with their pop sensibilities and evocative lyrics since their inception in 2020. The quartet, consisting of lead vocalist/guitarist John McCarthy, bassist/vocalist Nick Seroukas, lead guitarist Aaron Sedlak, and drummer Leroy Heta, came together with a shared desire to create a sonic experience that transports listeners to unseen realms. In the dimly lit venues and hidden gems of the local circuit, Midnight Zephyr quickly garnered attention for their mesmerizing live performances, seamlessly blending raw emotive energy with the fun and passion of being alive. Influenced by the likes of Muse, Red Hot Chili Peppers, as well as pop acts such as Dua Lipa and DNCE, the band carved a niche for themselves with a sound that oscillates between loud choruses and softer melodic verses that keep the audience at bated breath.
