MIGSY (Misgana Barratt) is an independent electronic artist creating high-energy music built for loudspeakers, festival environments, and late-night warehouse spaces. Inspired by rave culture and experimental club sounds, his music blends heavy basslines, distorted textures, sharp percussion, and unpredictable structures that feel raw, intense, and constantly evolving. After discovering electronic music on a broken iPad at just 6 years old, MIGSY began developing a sound focused on experimentation rather than formula. Alongside the music, his colourful surreal visual world has become a defining part of the project, creating an identity that feels immersive, chaotic, and instantly recognisable. Adopted from Ethiopia and raised in Australia, MIGSY brings a unique perspective into his work, pushing electronic music into a space that feels both personal and forward-thinking.
