Born in Ghana and raised in Sydney, Mike Akox is poised to become one of the first Afrobeat artists to come out of Australia. Mike prides himself on creating music true to his roots, and working alongside frequent collaborator and producer Blessed, Mike blends styles like Rock and Pop into his music that separate him from other Afrobeat artists. Recently, Mike has moved back to Ghana to continue to pursue his career as an artist, using the power of reuniting with his home and his community to propel him forward. After a slew of singles in 2019 and 2020, Mike just released his debut EP “Patience”, featuring his most popular track “Spectacular” and his latest single “Super Mario” featuring Stonebwoy.
