What happens when a musically frustrated god-bothering mother of six divorcee meets a youngish creative passionately environmental tree hugging anamist with an amazing voice? Musical chemistry that’s what. After a short chat involving the discovery of one another’s greatest musical desires, MILKWOOD was born. Our performances include the organic and soothing tingles of a kitchen whisk gently stroking a cake rack, the bottomless take away coffee cup producing a hauntingly distant voice, heartbreaking lyrics and pianissimo telling of missing loved ones, political poetry with plucked ukulele, and honest, down to earth, feel – good guitar country folk originals.
