Hey there, my name's Millicent Taylor, I'm a singer songwriter from the mornington peninsula. I First picked up a guitar in grade 3 and haven't put it down since. I Began singing in the school choir to get out of class and then ended up being selected to sing in the year 6 rock band where we performed small gigs to the school and also at Red Hill Live. I started writing little riff's and chord structures at about year 8 and mucked around with that for a few years until i started to fit lyrics to the guitar parts i'd written. In about year 10 I started to write more seriously and try to tell stories through my lyrics, not neccessarily of things I had experienced but things i had seen and knew were happening out there. I love writing and playing around with different sounds, riffs and chords, wouldn't mind getting more serious about it either, so yeah that's pretty much the story there.
