MINDSET is a metal band from the north west suburbs of melbourne, consisting of four members, that write serious grooves, with influences of old and traditional sounds with a modern twist that steers away from 'nu metal' and fusing genres. But as it says we are a metal band, and it is a mindset. Our music is about staying true to the roots of heavy metal, and writing grooves that people can move to, but still with as much intensity and agression as you come to expect from a metal band. Using strong lyrical content with a real message in the music and all elements of the band fused together expresses such an explosive sound that captures what metal needs to hear again and follow the footsteps of where it all began.
