Combining styles and elements from a vast majority of musical backgrounds, Minister Sid are a four-piece indie rock band from the Central Coast, NSW. Minister Sid was formed in 2011 by Tom Acton and Jordan Fleming's desire to get in the studio and record some simple blues rock tracks. When Mitch Gilbert's split from his previous band Random Ryde, he was approached by Jordan to play bass for what would soon become Minister Sid. Louis Fairbrother, a young drummer from the Rhythm Hut in Gosford, was then invited to come along and have a jam with the boys. One day later, the boys from Minister Sid recorded the song 'Infatuation' at Caravan Records in North Gosford. Minister Sid are planning on writing and recording more tunes over the Summer holidays as well as a few live gigs here and there. Keep an eye out, these young boys are on the rise.
