Currently performing in the UK, Minutes started Their story in a Newtown house with fellow housemates Andy Giles (Traces of Nut - High Beam Records) and Christopher Muir (Independent - Terrace Records). The creative and sometimes turbulent household saw Minutes evolve from the early and wonderful songwriting stages of Nicholas Lyne (Theatre - No Commercial Releases). With FBI radio airplay and circulation by word of mouth in Australia and the UK, one of the songs (featured) is being recognised as a beautiful peice of creative songwriting. Minutes continue their journey. To be continued

We are Minutes. Minutes is four musicians from very different musical backgrounds sharing their respective influences and experience while tipping a hat in the direction of our Australian rock and roll forefathers as well as heroes from American post punk band of the past 2 decades Late 2008 saw Minutes first shows and the opportunity to play with some of the country’s most respected rock acts such as Further and Blacklevel Embassy. After gaining the necessary live experience Minutes are ready to tackle regular live shows across the country, which include playing with Young & Restless in August and Melt Banaana (JPN) at the Forum in October. The band also continues to work in the studio on a debut EP which will be ready by September. The 3 track sampler contains demo versions of songs intended to make up a portion of this release.
