Born and raised in Wellington, Aotearoa, Mip Fumo landed in Melbourne in two thousand and something with his partner. They produced little brown Australians and now have a whare in the northern suburbs. When Mip’s not parenting or teaching he’s in the shed with his MPC, cold and dishevelled, or melting in subterranean heat. If he’s not hanging with the fam he’s hanging with the meatheads from the Lopsided collective. Oh, and he is one half of the komo’s from Clingtone. Catch him live sometime in a northern hay-barn or see him in a record store desperately trying to keep his kids pre-occupied while he digs.
