MIRAN.DA is a 19 year old bedroom producer and artist from Wollongong keen to bring silliness to the world! She is a jack of all trades, producing and performing all of her tracks. Her music balances shitty piano chords, out-of-tune cello, mediocre bass, poorly played guitar and husky broken vocals that have the grannies reaching for their lemongrass teas. Inspired by artists like Amy Winehouse and Kali Uchis, and worshipping the disco and pop-rock hits of the 70’s and 80’s her music knows no bounds. She has often felt out of place doing music - getting puffed on stage from her lung disease and struggling to speak due to a paralyzed vocal cord. For a long time she has shied away from the spotlight, but she has realised perfection is a waste of time. Music’s a powerful tool for change that she can use however she wants to, so that’s what she’s gonna do.
