Misha Bear is a multi-talented artist from Melbourne, about to release her 5th studio recording. New technology is allowing Bear to push the boundaries of super-modern music, while enjoying the influences of past decades. Her own style has been evolving since 2014 when Bear released her first EP, Mouche. Bear followed this with three more releases in quick succession (Ladybug, 2018; Stories, 2019; and Heart Gallery, 2020). SUPERFLOWER, coming out in early 2022 will be her 5th studio release, and her second full-length album with multi instrumentalist and producer David Herzog. Together with Herzog, Bear creates a hybrid genre combining elements of indie, electronic and pop. Bear’s love of 80s and 90s music shines though in the progressive, synth-laden songs that have catchy, mainstream appeal. Bear writes directly from the heart, turning raw emotions into melodious and memorable pop tunes.
