Miss Butterfly Meets The Eagle is the Love Child of Amanda McHugh and Mick McHugh (singer-songwriters, musicians, producers). Our music is for the love of it. We are obsessed with feel good, inspirational music. We’ve been writing for years but only just got our shit together to record and produce our songs together. Inspired by Prince, Cat Stevens Father & Son, John Lennon’s Imagine, Pop, folk, Irish music, 1980’s popular, Cher, Mika, Mike Love, Trevor Hall, protest, The Beatles, Pink, Adele, Celine Dion, Michael Buble, Bob Dylan’s Blowing in the Wind, and so many others; we love to write about what we experience but also what we dream of and what we’d like to help create or change or shift in the world. Music is life changing. It is life and keeps us alive and connected to ourselves and each other. It heals and it creates joy, feeling, motivation, sensuality, all the feels that we want in life
