Reflective music for the soul, honey lathered in roots and jazz, Miss Emilia is known for her big hair, and an even bigger voice. With a quintessential Melbourne vintage soul sound, Miss Emilia is out with her sparkly soul-nurturing new single ‘Cos I Met You’, a classic feel good love song, with a new age message. Though known best as ‘Sugar Mama’ from the cult-followed outfit The Mamas, Miss Emilia also shines on her own, famed for having the perfect balance of fiery vocals, tender moments, and a sense of watching and hearing sunshine. "This song means so much to me, in so many ways. It was a song I wrote and recorded as a surprise for my partners birthday last year, and was one of those songs that once I started, it almost wrote itself. As a red headed, opinionated, ethnic as heck, curvaceous disabled woman, I know I'm not everyones cup of tea and didn't really think I would find the love that I have found, and to these people I am so so grateful, and who this song is dedicated to"
