Haru Haiku is a dense soundscape, one that starts sparse but builds layers of Portishead-influenced echoes - dark and brooding bass providing the cutting edge for the bleeding sarcasm of Miss Pompeii's floating vocals. In the beginning a folk song, brought to life with a Micro Korg and too much wine. Then crafted at Sing Sing Studios with a swathe of vintage equipment. Produced by Benjamin McCarthy (Nyck, Gordi, Alex The Astronaut, Kate Miller-Hiedke).
