12 has been a defining year in the development of Mistress Mondays. The band started the year off with a four week residency coinciding with National SLAM day, showcased at Adelaide's Fuse Festival and released single / video clip 'Thorn'. Mistress Mondays announce this week the release of 'Words Like Wire', the band's five track debut EP, on Friday 24th July. ‘Words Like Wire' is an edgy and lyrically provocative record that highlights the talented four-piece’s musicianship, ARIA nominated producer Forrester Savell’s masterful approach to recording and the band's exciting blend of alternative rock. "A highly entertaining unit with a musical foundation so solid you could build a house on it. Mistress Mondays are an excellent indication of the quality of local live music out there" – Tone Deaf
