Edit history

Misty Mountain is a newly formed Psychedelic Blues Rock 4 piece that formed in April 2011. They combine a tight rhythm section and lengthy guitar work with catchy vocal melodies that we're made to get feet moving. Drawing on influences such as The Jimi Hendrix Experience and Led Zeppelin to Pink Floyd and even local acts, to bring danceable tunes mixed with psychedelia and even some hints of pop. The band gigged tirelessly throughout June, ending the month by holding their first event at the Velvet Lounge with Support from Georgi Kay and Sean Pollard (Split Seconds), and even a gig at the Mount Helena tavern. Misty Mountain is continuing after a small break in July with gigs all throughout September and October and with plans for an EP or a full length album to be recorded sometime by the end of the year, with a release following sometime in early 2012.
