Mitch, Please are a 5-piece nerd punk band from Meanjin/Brisbane and sit somewhere between pop punk and hardcore in the genre spectrum. Elements of fast-tempo melodic pop meet heavier metal riffs and vocals that range from thrash-heavy to Disney-whimsical, with many levels in between. Debut EP The Bin Collection helped solidify the band as a local South East Queensland favourite, playing to a loyal fan base alongside some well-known Australian artists and receiving generous airplay from national community radio stations, with 4ZZZ FM ranking it in the Top 20 most played every week for over 4 months following it release. On December 9th, 2022, Mitch, Please released their second 6-track EP 'Yes, Thanks'. Using familiar elements of satire and double entendre akin to The Bin Collection, 'Yes, Thanks' takes inspiration from relatable shortcomings such as puzzle-addiction, over-consumption of fizzy drinks and the hoarding of band shirts.
