Mo McMorrow is a Canadian-born, Australian-based singer-songwriter who came to music through the visual arts in her mid-30s. This unconventional path gives her work its striking originality and emotional depth. For decades, Mo has honed her singer-songwriting craft under the radar, absorbing musical influences from Ireland, Texas, and Australia, experiences that shape her powerful performances. “An amazing performer. Great stories and lyrics, and that powerful voice. Wow.” — Wendy Williams, KRR 98.7 Using a loop pedal, Mo builds cinematic layers of sound, harmonies, rhythms, and textures, before stripping it all back to songs of raw honesty and tenderness. Her shows move effortlessly between laughter, heartbreak, and wonder, taking audiences on a deeply human journey. Her songwriting reveals a compassionate eye for outsiders, seekers, dreamers, and the quietly broken-hearted. With wisdom and warmth, she invites listeners to lean in, and truly listen.
