Mo is an energetic and lethargic rock band. We are just out to have a mad time playing music and maybe allow ogthers to do the same along the way... As 3 mates from school with a passion for music, we thought it only sensible to form a band and sport stunningly real...ly fake moustaches, laugh at just about anything and most importantly make music lyrics up on the spot. A long long time ago it was all just a dream. Now with Chris in on the action as our mixer and rhythm guitarist... well who knows!?

$MO is a Canberra-bred, Melbourne-based creative that highlights genuine human experiences through a polished Alternative R&B sound. Dexter sets to contrast midnight-inspired epiphanies against a hazy-but-detailed lo-fi sonic, with pure intentions of reaching out to the lost and silent: “My art draws influence from the shock and awe of human experiences, with thoughts inspired by the same comedown.” At only 23 years old, $MO finds himself an artist of Canberra’s biggest creative collective ‘TheVeryRare’ and has a combined stream count of over 250K with only four official releases. $MO proves himself an extremely underrated, upcoming urban-alternative act within Australia.
