Ladies and gentlemen, prepare to go insanely insane for MOCHESMO! Mochesmo are not your ordinary rockers. The band has a sound which constantly dodges definition. The four lads have thrown a veritable mountain of influences into the creative melting-pot. At any one performance, their style ricochets from rollicking guitar rock to flamboyant get-up-and-dance funk to seething jazzy grooves. Drawing influences from an eclectic range of acts, including Frank Zappa, Led Zeppelin, James Brown, Deep Purple, The Avalanches and Dire Straits, just to name a fraction. Mochesmo tread the fine line between catchy and chaotic, playing finely-crafted songs but never afraid of delving into the realms of improvisation. Live, they possess an energy which woos audiences and wins fans. The band have had an astounding number of successes considering their relatively recent break onto the music scene.
