After years of writing and playing in and around the nooks and crannies of Melbourne’s live music scene, Rob Bennett decided it was time to draw the line. He decided it was time to dive deep back into the hibernation of his writers cave, otherwise know as his garage. He partnered up and got to work writing and recording with Arik Blum from El Perro Productions. Spending countless hour, days, weeks and months divided between his garage and Arik’s studio in Elwood, coming out with a whole bunch of tunes. Pressing ahead and always being one to insist on quality, Rob reached out to master mixing engineer Scott Horstcroft (EMI and The Grove), who agreed to mix this new bag of songs that Rob had been working on. Rob flew up to famous Grove Studios in early 2015 to work with Scott in sculpting and refining the sounds that had been stored up for years in a creative corners of his’s mind… What was created is an array of songs that have mingled flavours of Alternative rock with sprinkles of
