Mog's songs are alternative rock, rooted in strong songwriting, with a pop twist. They're melodic, evocative and edgy, featuring a unique blend of angst, wit and insight. Mog is a Grand Prize Winner in the prestigious 2009 John Lennon Songwriting Contest, a Winner in the 2010 and 2012 Great American Song Contest and a Winner in both the 2009 and 2010 100% Music Songwriting Contest (France). Mog was a finalist in the International Songwriting Competition in 2007 and 2008, alongside Augie March and Eskimo Joe, and a semi-finalist in 2009. To quote the New York Times, this "is the songwriting competition to take note of!". Mog had seven TV placements in 2010 - CSI: NY 6 May 2010 (US); Keeping Up with the Kardashians 29 August 2010 (US); E!'s Married to Rock 28 November 2010 (US); Foxtel's W Channel promo May 2010 Aust); MTV's The Real World: New Orleans, E!'s Spin Crowd 21 February 2010 (US); and MTV's The Real World: DC 13 January 2010 (US). In 2011 Mog was again placed in Keeping Up with the Kardashians 9 October 2011, as well as several episodes of CBS' Roadtrip Nation October/November 2011 and Virgin America's in-flight channel airplay June to October 2011. More recent placements include American Pickers, Teen Mom, Bad Girls Club, and Challenge:Rivals II. But perhaps more importantly, Mog was a Grand Prize Winner in the 2009 John Lennon Songwriting Contest (US), a Winner in both the 2010 and 2012 Great American Song Contest (US) and a Winner in both the 2009 and 2010 100% Music Songwriting Contest (France/UK).

One of the new independents in the house. With TV airings on CSI:NY, MTV's The Real World, and Keeping Up with the Kardashians among others, not to mention becoming a Grand Prize Winner in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest, these guys are building momentum. More recently Mog has been played on Virgin America's in-flight channel, and been a winner in both the 2010 and 2012 Great American Song Contest, and both the 2009 and 2010 100% Music Songwriting Contest. These songs are from the album "Seldom Seen" which was released in 2010 and is available from iTunes and other stores. Mog's debut album "Nine" was released in 2009, while his EP "Faux" and album "Travel Light" were released in 2012 and 2014 respectively.
