Michael Kennedy aka Molotov Disco is an artist, producer, and songwriter from Canberra, Australia. After growing up in the Canberra skate and snowboard scene Michael began releasing music in 2009 under the title of Molotov Disco with his electro punk debut single ‘Face Junk Pavement’. Whilst travelling back and forth between Australia and Japan Michael continued to create Big Beat, Drum&Bass, Electro Punk and experimental records with label Molotov Disco Records. In 2014 Molotov Disco moved to Tokyo to pursue opportunities in the thriving music scene working with several artists in J-pop and the Tokyo Drum n Bass community while also playing at clubs including Club Womb, Ruby Room and R Lounge in Shibuya, Tokyo. In 2020 after returning to his home town of Canberra the Molotov Disco EP titled Noise Rig was released. Throughout 2021 Molotov Disco released several tracks from the album titled Columbia which was released in full late February 2022.
