The voice of Mon Coeur is an idiosyncratic journey through melody and lyricism. Tales of love, loss, the search and the journey delivered in a resonant alto. With Influences ranging from Karen Dalton, Feist, The Everly Brothers, Sharon Van Etten to Florence and the Machine; Mon Coeur’s songwriting and vocalisation harks back to her years spent at choir. After spending some time performing in bands such as Luna Deville, Skyscaper Stan and Tailor Birds; supporting the likes of Marlon Williams, D.D Dumbo, Angie McMahon, Admiral Fallow (UK), The Wagons and Anthonie Tonnon (NZ), Mon Coeur is well geared to venture solo and celebrate the release of her debut E.P ‘Grief Journal’ in March 2019.
