'Monico' is the stage name of Sydney based singer/songwriter; Isaac Monico Atienzo. From the outset of COVID lockdowns, Monico has been performing prolifically around Sydney drip feeding the occasional moody single. Songs such as 'Pair Of Three' are reminiscent of the likes of Hozier, Noah Kahan as well as more pop/rock leaning tracks like 'Take What She Wants' have echoes of Dire Straits. 2025 saw the formation of his new trio, teaming up with his cousin Lachlan Dawson (Drums/percussion) and good friend Ben Garrigo (Bass/Rhythm) wasting no time cutting their teeth with open mics and live shows in Sydney as well as the Tamworth Country Music Festival. The trio are gearing up to take their newest folk/rock single 'N.P.C' to the world on the 16th of January. Enquiries and comms to: thatguymonico@gmail.com
