Formed from the ashes of various Melbourne hardcore bands in 2005, Moniker Soul have focused their writing to embrace more than just the guitar driven, screaming style, hardcore that they had been playing in the past. Taking this new approach has given the band a more eclectic musical sound with crushing riffs and huge breakdowns being mixed with melodic musical sections and well thought out lyrical arrangements. Along with the three track demo that they have just finished recording, Moniker Soul have received a lot of good feed back on their myspace page (www.myspace.com/monikersoul). With the forging of this new sound, Luke (Guitars), Steve (Vocals) and Sean (Drums) decided to enlist the help of Chris (Bass) and Gabe (Guitars) who bought a much needed new perspective to their sound.
