Montresor are a 4-piece instrumental prog band from Melbourne. Experimenting both in lengthy jams and tightly composed sections with many time signature changes, Montresor evoke the complexity of King Crimson, the grooviness of 70s Yes and the spaciness of Pink Floyd and yet avoid the temptation to sound like those bands. Their first album Daybreak was released in 2011, and their followup Entelechy has just been released in 2015.
