Originally formed under the awful name "Major Tom and the Foolery", Tom OC and Gilbert got into home recording. However this name was promptly and discretely changed, on Tom's computer, to "Micky Moon and the Missiles". This was a great name, but it was so damn long that people would never remember it. "Awful abundance of alliteration!" cried the naysayers, ironically. Thus, in a spontaneous decision made at a wild party, the band changed their name to "Moon Landing". Unfortunately, many members are currently scattered across the globe and this band is finding it difficult to get together for gigs. But there's still lots happening with those at home in the studio! Debut album and more gigs due early next year.
