Moon Rakers was formed early 2010 when Matt Wells (lead singer) asked old primary school friends Richard Docherty (guitar) and Lewis Sinclair (bass) to join forces and create a band with a fun and energetic vibe. After playing together for a number of months and going through various other band members trying to find a drummer that would fit the band, they eventually found the the perfect match for the band being Josh Hopkins(drums), now with the perfect combination they are itching to break open into the Perth's music scene.
