Moonburnt's epic 72 minute album 'Nocturnal Journey' is available via Moonburnt's website (moonburnt.com) and myspace (myspace.com/moonburntmusic). With a broad spectrum of electronic and 'real music' influences, and tracks ranging from mellow acoustic-laced numbers to dancefloor stompers, the common thread in all Moonburnt's music is a love of solid grooves, razor-sharp production and, most importantly, good old-fashioned vocal and instrumental songwriting. "Fresh, open sounding and really on the money. Great bass-lines too, and straight up sound where it needs to be ... 'Nu-jazz' minus the bullshit and with way more booty!" - Deepchild Tracks from the album have received airplay on jtv, Triple J, FBI, Fresh FM + a bunch of other stations, and have also charted in Triple J Unearthed's Electronic Top 10 and placed in the Dance Top 20 for the MusicOz Awards. "Nocturnal Journey" serves up over an hour of music across 12 tracks, conceived from the outset as an interconnected sequence.
