Moonfaker started in the suburban depths of Adelaide, moulding themselves into a grunge four piece in 2013. Cutting their teeth and getting their hands dirty at house parties, bars and live venues, Moonfaker entered 2014 armed with a tight repertoire of pixel-perfect indie rock songs and driving grunge-pop party tricks. In a short history, Moonfaker have shared the stage with acts such as The Aves, Young Offenders, and Valkyries, while shows at The Jade Monkey, The Exeter, and The Metro have received a fantastic response in numbers and noise from ever greater crowds, as well as a repeat appearances at HillsideFest. It's now 2016, and slaving away under hot lights in the underground of Adelaide has netted Moonfaker's latest release. It promises nothing but the unexpected. Drawing influences from Britrock, indie, and anything from Seattle circa 1991, the recordings distill the live energy of the band into a perfect representation of everything they stand for.
