Sydney-based singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Morgan Houston weaves hypnotic melodies and clever lyricism to create her very own brand of pop music. Drawing profound inspiration from artists such as Lennon Stella, Vera Blue, JOY, Morgan blurs the lines between pop, folk, electronica and RnB to create a sound that is still cohesive and somehow meant to be. Layers upon layers of sultry smooth vocals often take centre stage alongside an honest and vulnerable perspective on relationships, self-discovery and heartache. Her self-produced debut EP ‘Glow Up’ was released in July of 2021. The 7-track shimmering pop collection garnered airplay on over 50 radio stations. Her debut single 'Not Quite Yet' was heralded by AAA Backstage as "the perfect single to enter the fray...blending dark lyrics with a hopeful and uplifting dynamic." Heading into 2022, Morgan is set to start a new era of sultry pop earworms and is certainly one to watch.
