Hailing from Sydney's inner west, Boxing with Ghosts tussle with concepts of love, the ups and downs of city life, social politics and the dangers of stereotypes. These themes are reflected in their music which features disarmingly catchy melodies and cheeky lyrics underscored by dynamic rhythms, raw guitar and keys. Sounding something like pop, rock and indie, with inflections of psychedelia, BWG have evolved a unique sound with songs which take the listener on surprising and unexpected musical journeys.
