Hailing from Melbourne, morningfence make music to listen to. Drawing influence from acts such as The Dirty Three & Air, the duo consists of cousins Paul Dyson & Shannon Murphy, two lads who have trod the boards of Melbourne stages in various outfits over the years. Aswell as sharing influences and blood lines, morningfence share vocal duties whilst rotating between guitars, keys and drums to make their beds of sound. The result is an array of songs that are all at once subtle, progressive and rich.
